John is a nature, travel and environmental photographer living in the Seattle, Washington area. His work has been awarded recognition in juried exhibitions, published in several books including "Best of the Northwest", magazines, National Geographic publications, notecards, calendars and included in collections at Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. He is a volunteer photographer for the National Park Service's Washington Support Office.

John has conducted photography workshops for Mount Rainier National Park, offers 1-on-1 photography field trips and organizes nature photography exhibitions.

He co-organized and co-exhibited in a photography exhibition: "The National Parks in Washington State", 10/23/2010 to 1/13/2011 at Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA.
